My creative practice is centered on the delicate tension between reality and fantasy. Drawing inspiration from the structural foundations of Modernism and the expressive freedom of Post-Impressionism, my work seeks to reveal the soul inherent in the visual world. In my compositions, the relationship between objects, figures, and people is rarely purely representational. Instead, I explore a sense of theatricality, often informed by the archetypes and masks of the Commedia dell'Arte. This approach allows for a deep integration of symbolism, where every element functions as a signifier for deeper psychological or philosophical truths. Technical execution is driven by the nuanced application of color and the dialogue between light and shadow. By balancing these elements, I aim to construct a space that mirrors the logic of a dream—a state where the familiar is transformed into something evocative and introspective. Through this synthesis, the canvas becomes a bridge between the tangible world and the internal landscape of the imagination.
